Google Panda update was a reason to join party for some bloggers and for some bloggers it was a reason to cancel the party. But panda update is controversial because many of original content writer thrown below the scrapers. It is not easy to decide who is original writer and who is not because all the bloggers who have in minus for them it is tough time.
But we can see some posts that are easily recognizable who is original and who is scraper still scraper is ranking high and original is out of rank or it is in bottom of pile of all the scrapers.
This is something painful for original writers so I can’t say they are wrong. But Google’s Panda update is not real Panda it is just an algorithm and one can get high rank if one qualifies some of the optimizations and reputations.
It is my little effort to study and write an article on this subject why scrapers rank higher than original?

If you visit both posts you will come to know why he is on top and original on second.

Posterous is a big site where thousands of daily new posts are getting published including many type of contents. That has higher page rank. higher Alexa rank, more quality backlinks.
Page Speed
If you compare both websites page load speed scrapers page loads faster than original because it not has any sidebar and advertisement and only one image. It is also not footer rich.
Useless Comments
Comments are good but sometimes they can be bad and can increase your page loading time because comment has an Avatar. And comments are outside of 85 Killer tips.

The original page has many links that are related or popular posts it is also a reason.
The Purpose
The original writer has some purpose as getting conversation, monetizing content but the scraper is just sharing content.
So if a scrapper is ranking higher so some of above reason can be a case.
